1. Booking Fees & Consultation Fees

• All booking fees are non-refundable.
• All new clients and online bookings are required to pay a non-refundable booking fee to secure their appointment.
• Your booking fee will be credited towards your appointment total, but will be forfeited if your appointment is cancelled, regardless of notice given.
• Booking fees are non-transferable to another person.
• Consultations require a non-refundable booking fee, which will be credited to your appointment should you proceed with a booking.
• If you book an appointment for an incorrect service and we are unable to provide you with the correct service on the day of your appointment, your booking fee will be forfeited.
• Booking fees are transferable to a new date up to 48 hours before your appointment time.
• Your booking fee is deductible from the total cost of service at your appointment.

2. Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Any reschedules or cancellations made within 48 hours before your appointment will forfeit your booking fee, and you may be required to pay 50% of your booked appointment service.
• Should your appointment be rescheduled within our cancellation period, the booking fee will carry over to your rescheduled appointment.
• Appointments may only be rescheduled twice before your booking fee is forfeited.
• No future appointments can be made until any outstanding cancellation fee has been paid in full.
• If you are booked in for a large appointment and need to change to a smaller service, 48 hours prior notice is required.
• Any changes on the day will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the original booked service, on top of the service being provided.
• If you choose to cancel your appointment, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

3. No Shows Policy

• No shows will be charged 100% of their booked service amount and any card on file will be charged.
• First-time clients to Hair Avenue who fail to show will not be able to rebook any future appointments.
• Hair Avenue will, at their discretion, waive the policy where circumstances deem it necessary or reasonable.

4. Confirmation Policy

• A confirmation text will be sent prior to your appointment via our booking system.
• Please confirm your appointment. If we cannot confirm your appointment 48 hours prior to your appointment time, your appointment may be cancelled and any booking fees will be forfeited.
• A cancellation fee may also apply.

5. Late Policy

• Please allow extra time to arrive at your appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to provide you with your full service.
• Late fees may apply.
• If we are unable to provide your full service due to lateness, our cancellation policies will apply and the balance of your appointment may need to be paid before another appointment is booked.

6. Colour & Cut Adjustment Policy

We do not offer a "change of mind" redo service. However, we want to ensure all our clients are 100% satisfied with their service.

• We have a 10-day adjustment policy.
• If you have any concerns with your service, please contact us within 10 days from your original appointment date so we can resolve any issues.
• Adjustments are at the discretion of Hair Avenue and are intended to address concerns related to the original service brief discussed during your consultation.

7. No Extras Policy

It's salon policy that due to insurance and OH&S requirements, additional persons or children cannot attend the salon with you during your appointment.

• If for some reason you need to bring an extra person with you, please contact the salon prior to your appointment.
• Newborn and breastfeeding babies are of course welcomed.

8. Payment Options

Payment for your appointment can be made using:

• Cash
• All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
• EFTPOS
• Contactless payments including Apple Pay and Google Pay

9. Parking

Hair Avenue is located at Unit 102/16 Lonsdale Street, Braddon ACT 2612.

• Free street parking is available along Lonsdale Street and surrounding streets in the Braddon precinct.
• Paid parking is available at the nearby Braddon precinct car park.
• The salon is easily accessible at street level.

10. Privacy Policy

Hair Avenue ABN (insert ABN), trading as Hair Avenue ("Hair Avenue", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the information about you that we collect, store and use when you provide it to us on our website: hairavenue.com.au (Site).

We manage your information in accordance with the requirements of the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

By accessing the Site, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Personal information that we collect from you will be stored on servers located in Australia.

Site User Tracking

We may use tracking software to review and improve your experience of our Site, including Google Analytics. Google Analytics collects data about our site traffic via advertising cookies and anonymous identifiers. Data collected is not linked with any personally identifiable information you submit on our Site.

The Site includes social media features, such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok buttons.
